Makes me glad your friend got distracted by pizza. Just think, when you do get to go out on cow safari, the weather will be better while you dodge all the annoyed beef and slip-slide on cowpats and snap pictures for later great paintings. Besides, that looks like a cow and a heifer. Not bovine, but I think female giraffes are called cows, right? One's quite smaller, looks like a mother and youngster to me. Gorgeous start to what's going to be another glorious painting. I'm going to have to try suede matboard and watercolor pencil sometime. What brand of watercolor pencils are you using? I think our clocks go forward and our British Summer Time starts at the end of March, but I've actually seen some sun and some growth around here just lately, so it's coming even if it isn't official!
