Charming! I had to wait until I went into the gallery (it has hi-speed) so view the You tube flick. I tried a couple of others and seen what you meant by finding a decent clip.

Bagpuss? There was a childrens TV program in the 70's and Bagpuss was an old saggy cloth cat that sat in the window of a lost and found shop. I'm not sure if you would have seen it in the US? Here is a clip of the beginning of the program.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ga23iSxyXO4

It's a shame that this is the only sensible clip I could find. After the opening clip, Emily brings Bagpuss something that she has found, says some magic words, and then Bagpuss and everything else in the shop comes to life and the program turns to colour, with moving pictures instead of sepia stills.

I've always loved Bagpuss, and I love the name Emily too :)

Undaunted Bagpuss? okay what's the story with that name. :) Oliver (my previous cat) also had crazy moments. Much like Budda it tended to happen after dark. Though he can turn sooo naughty on any given moment.

AngelaWhen I envisioned it originally I was think soft blues & greens kinda blurred photo effect. Not sure what I'll do though. I had thought about a white fence railing also. I love geometeric shapes thrown in. Probably not this time though. Nope, I haven't been over to Maggie's site for awhile. Will definately go check it out though.

You got heat? We got cool. Gets into the 40's at night and hasn't reached 70 for a high all week. Frankly this is my favorite time o' year. I walk every day and just love to be outside. Even have my window open at night despite the 40's thing. :)

Good for you for working it! That is the hardest part for me. Marketing. Blugh! Are you doing all the layout and design for you portfolios and such?

Hahaha, my Bagpuss would have a "mad half hour" as I used to call it, where he'd suddenly decide to run around like a nut case, bouncing off the walls and everything else, then he'd suddenly calm down again. Strange animals.

Little Dickens!!! Love the Colton painting so far -- it is coming along BEAUTIFULLY! As to the composition, I am anxious to see what kind of background your will be coming up with.

Did you see Maggies comment about "old" bloggers, the other day -- another reason I don't want to blog, LOL.

Went to an art festival I would like to make a goal on Monday, worked on a CP kitten Tuesday -- need to beef up the cats in my repitore(sp.?)/portfolio. Second one of same subject -- first one the colorfix began to tear/flake off! Worked on brochures, etc. yesterday, printing company has a printing special if ordered by the 15th. Have an interview today from the job applications I sent out awhile back -- had given up on it, then they call. Is teaching social work to paraprofessionals at the technical college level, could involve alot of driving to branches -- don't know about that, especially in the winter. But can't think about that without first things first, which is the interview, today. A little hot, but glad fall isn't rushing in like it seemed it was going to do for a little while there. Happy Painting, Angela
