The Britt Draft Horse Show is my Favorit place to Show at. It is so fun. Everybody knows everyone and they are so kind!

I wish you were there to. It was lonely. Mike and I had discussed his going, but he would have been bored quite quickly and then I would have spent all my time fussing and worrying about him. Also my two best horsey friends were both out of state so I went alone.

I won’t know what I got for reference photos until after I get them developed. (I took the digital along for blog purposes only.) I didn’t have that “Aha!” moment when I knew I had a painting though. Still was it was a good day.

I started my Colton painting today. Will try to get some WIP posted soon.

Speaking of horses butts I’ll post a painting (tomorrow hopefully) that I did after my first visit to Britt several years ago.

I second that, good you are looking after you. You describe the joy of it all very well. I am sorry to hear about that dishplatter trend for the hoofs, though. Bet you have some luscious refrence photos, these posted photos seem to imply you do.

IREAL seems like a very good orgainization.

But what a lovely day you must have had. It’s great to get out sometimes and completely indulge in your passion and leave life’s cares behind. I’m glad you’re looking after you. Oh, I’m so jealous. I wish I was there too!
