Barb, The current painting isn't a Shire, it is based on a Percheron. I say based, because I toyed with multiple colorations and breeds and finally just settled on creating something with loads of screaming color. I just put it in as a WIP in the Shire post. The reference photos for this painting are farther back in the blog. Perhaps I should have made the distinction more clear in the post, huh.
