Thanks Mona, one of the girls in the class really liked how the mug came out actually. If I make another one for my Mum and it actually comes out right (for a change) I might let her have this one. If Polo is dry by the time I go back to class hopefully he will be fired then. I'm drying him out really slowly to make sure he is dry throughout. If he dries unevenly or too quickly he could crack. I think I'm just going to glaze him white with black on his nose and eyes. I thought about putting a little brown around his toes as well. The tutor thought we had a matte white at class, but apparently not, so I might have to wait a while. I don't really want a shiny polar bear! Wow, that’s a lot of photo’s!

What I find incredible is that you obviously know your subject well enough to be able to elaborate on detail that I can hardly see, such as muscle contour. If I were going to sculpt a horse at some point, I would need incredibly good photo's of all angles, because I just don't know anything about their bone/muscle structure.
