Angela, I used the Neocolors quite a bit on the sheep painting. I was great though they did tend to bind (burnish) the suede some.

It seems odd that they’d be allowed by the CPSA. I didn’t think they even allowed your basic WC pencil? Or am I all wrong on this? Either way they seem even farther off the mark. On the other hand, if I were competing I’d like it if I could use them.

Thanks Mel, I also really liked “Rocky” took a quick peek last night. Will be back to give it a thorough look through today.

Very Nice, Mona, the sheep has a very warm expression. I love the colors and marks. Love the Title…..Very Appropriate for your Van Goghish mark making.

I look forward to hearing about some of your purchases/thoughts on water souluable crayons. The Neocolor ones I bougt are considered “colored pencils” by the CPSA, though they seem alot like oil pastel to me. I do not like them under CP as alot of CPer’s do. They took up too much of their tooth. I am interested in what they can do on their own or with other media besides CP. Looking forward to your post.
