I like your post darling! :) I didn't think of the Gabor illustration of how to pronounce it - I always think of the musical Gigi, which is pronounced (and spelt) the same. You mention colour correction in your post - do colours still come out wrong on the computer even though they have been scanned at such a high resolution with a good quality scanner? Ooh la la!
