It’s All About Me
Okay so I got nothing to post today. It was just one of those days where all I did was work to prepare for the next art event.
But an artist friend of mine, Nina Gower, visited the gallery recently and for some reason was snapping pictures. She of course asked if she could but I had been expected her to let me know, you know? Like a photo shoot or something. Kind woman that she is, she sent the photos to me. But most of them I am talking away because I was waiting for her to let me know when she was gonna take one. Hurrumph!
This was the only one fit to show, and that’s only if I squint my eyes real hard and tilt my head at an angle while looking at it.
I posted it as a reminder of what it is like to be painting. Actually, I think I may try to squeeze in a small oil pastel on handmade paper before this weekends upcoming artfair. We shall see if the fates conspire against me.

Very Nice photo — you do look peaceful, absorbed and happy. Happy Painting, Angela
Thanks Angela, I am actually in the gallery now, goofing off instead of trying to get the aforementioned oil pastel done. As it is Sunday, I have the doors locked, blinds closed, husband threatened to stay home, and large mug of icy diet Coke at hand.
If I actually make progress I will post a wip tonight.
