Company is always good for cleaning the house. Our place never gets a thorough scrub unless fear of immenent company. The gallery has made me even more sloppy at home just because I try to direct everyone to the gallery when they are coming for a breif visit.

Worked on my website today most of the day — at least being somewhat artiscally productive after perparing for and having company. I enjoyed having my company — but was like preparing for a major holiday event! If I did it more often, maybe I woudl be a little more relaxed.

Gotta go to a barrel racing event at a fair tomorrow, accompany my friend annually to that. Then off to mom’s for the weekend — then hopefully a few weeks to do my art will stretch out in front of me. Probabally will but off trying to do Labor Day garage sale — there is always next year. I was close to one job offer, but too long of a commute. Got my tax corrections done, will see if they are right, got the amount down from what they said considerably. I plan to really give art marketing a go — though could use more money sooner, think I will may take out a small loan and economize, budget the art biz!
