My First Zazzle Product!
A Tuckered Out mousepad.
Yeah okay not exactly mind blowing (do people other than myself even use mouse pads any more?) but this took me most of a day. Loads of reading tutorials which is akin to the Chinese water torture with the steady drip, drip drip of technical information that my non-technical brain needed to process and do something with.
But the flood gates are opened now so let’s see what other magic I can create.
Any suggestions? Is there anything you wanted to see my art on … and no I don’t expect you to buy it, I just need a direction. There’s a real good chance I’ll also use some of my more wonderful reference photos at some point as well.
UPDATED: Just added a Liberty Art Tile. You can check it out at zazzle.com/WildFacesGallery* The great thing about Zazzle is let’s say you like the liberty image but don’t want a tile … let’s say you want in on a jewelry box or a blank sketch journal YOU can customize this image to be on whatever the heck you want.

so, let’s say I want the Fleece on Earth image on a mug… can I make that combo? Do you still get paid through your store? or do you need to offer it as an option?

Lorie Truthfully it’s all too new for me to know for sure. But what I’ll do is make a Fleece mug and put it in a post tomorrow. You can click through and from there it will offer you many mug variations, sizes etc. I was working on a bunch of mugs today and plan to post them tomorrow (Fri.) since they take 24 hours from creation to show up in my Zazzle gallery.
Plus if you click through on my star link that I’ll provide I’ll get an extra %.

Zazzle sent me an email yesterday with your new mugs- I was able to click through and see them, but then they weren’t in your store, so I didn’t order yet, but I did have fun putting text on and color inside- it’s a cool site!
My only complaint about zazzle thus far is their speed. Probably because I do something in Squidoo and it’s immediately changed so taking 24 hours to get something added to my shop is just plan … well play on my patience a bit. Even when I upload a new image it won’t show in my folder for hours. Ah well other than that so far I’m loving the whole experience.
I think the email thing is cool with the liking but you could get annoyed at getting a few thousand emails since I’ll be creating new products everyday for awhile. I like 4 galleries so far so I know they come in.
