Good for you for working the press release. I know you know this but website traffic takes time. Occasionally alot of time. At this point I get several emails a week from my website, but that is after 10 years and hundreds of art events and eBay. Just keep workin' it and be patient. In truth word of mouth will give you the best return on investment. Seems like it went well for you this year -- which is GREAT! I had my art show opening Wednesday night -- enjoyed it. Alot of good art there. Nice crowd -- only 3 paintings sold that night, one for $2200, though -- that artist was very happy. I did get a press release about my business in a couple of papers -- web site traffic went up. Have had one call so far -- but she wants a people portrait! The caller had not seen the website, sent her a brochure and said I would meet with her if she was still interested.
