So With A Little Halloween Magic (and by magic I mean Photoshop)
So after a little thought and my husbands help, we scanned in the tracing of my raven. Enlarged it, moved it around, cropped it to suit my desires and finally printed it out on the large format printer. (A woeful under-usage of our giclee printer.)
And so I started anew.
Now you’re thinking “Uh huh . . . this is the same painting. Are you trying to pull a fast one on us Mona.”
“Ya huh it’s a new painting . . . Look closer. “
Okay, maybe you got a point that it is pretty darn similar. And truth be told at this stage of the game I was just about ready to pitch it.
This is where I left it yesterday but since I was having technical difficulties I couldn’t upload the photos so I didn’t post. I have worked on it most of today and am not so far from the end now. (In fact, I plan to start something new tomorrow.)
Because I was struggling with it, I decided to put in the background to see if it helped me.
And it did.
It pretty much changed everything.
So I may or may not post an update on my Raven. I may just leave it for the Happy Halloween post, Oh all right. One more work in progress, but I am saving the finished piece for H day. (Unless I completely bugger it up between now and then. Which is always a possibility.)
