Robert, I amazed you’ve not broke an Aquatone but then I really am hard on my materials. I like to really scrub in the color until the paper screams for mercy.

Awesomely beautiful. Each time you paint it’s better than the time before. Just awesome. Captures the spirit and fire of the horse so well. I love it.

Mona, he is magnificent! I love the way he came out. The shine on those golden brass details is glorious and it contrasts so well with his rich white hair. His dark eyes are compelling.

I never had a Derwent Aquatone break on me, I guess your hand must be different. I bought the set of 24 and like them a lot for their softness, opacity and that they’re lasting a long time. They don’t need sharpening as often as regular wood cased pencils, that’s fun.
