The paper didn't work at all. This is a new batch of larger sheets and actually the oil pastel would lift away a little paper if I tried to layer at all. Very frustrating. My other handmade paper is too small for the lambs, so either I will have to do them on my usual substrate or move on. Hurumph! I did check out wet canvas this morning. I love the reworked Victory. She (he) looks beautiful. Also liked the Sorrel (or was it a chestnut?) The muzzle needed to be played with but I imagine you did that in the rework. Very nice. These lambs were a couple of our bottle lambs one year. I tried to paint them way back when I first started with oil pastel and it turned out rather hideous.
