If I hear of it again I certainly will. It has already run a second time. I popped over to the Lifetime channel website and couldn’t find it listed as upcoming anywhere. I guess I’d suggest keeping watch on Lifetime I’m sure they’ll give it another (at least once more) go.

Ah, the painter of light! Thanks for the link, Mona. I was actually suprised at some of his work because previously I had only seen cabins and gardens in his work, I didn’t know he did fairy tale stuff as well.

I don’t know why these men should be mocked - I certainly couldn’t paint those things! The work may not be the “edgy” sort of stuff that modern artists like, but it’s in demand! The world would be pretty dull if we all produced the same kind of art.

I tend to like Kinkade’s work. I looked at it for years trying to figure out how he does that saturated-color thing. Some of his stuff is a little too cute but he does know color, it’s impressive.

I didn’t like all of them, but some of his landscapes really grab me. He has a way with buildings that’s impressive, though sometimes it goes a bit too far into the conventional. Then again there are a lot of people out there who like exactly the ones that least grab me.

Hehehe I like surgery sweet even if it’s a typo. That says it all — you wind up with so much sweet that ya need surgery.

Ah clever girl, but no pun intended. I still haven’t heard back on the culture but I’m kinda betting it’s a bug bite. I’m doing much better thank you, but still get tired really quickly. I used to say Kinkade’s work gave me cavities,

True they both are very intricate artists. I hadn’t really thought about it that way.

Is “surgery sweet” is a pun related to your staph infection? I hope you’re feeling better soon.

Thomas Kinkade’s and Terry Redlin’s paintings create nice feelings, but they’re not my favorite. Maybe I like more simplicity.
