There is a great product called "Challenger", available at hardware stores. It is very strong and can be diluted with very hot water. I just used it on our commercial studio floor and removed months of accumulated piles of oil pastels, tempera, pastels and heaven only knows what else creative people like to use when they make art. A few sprays resulted in clean floor for the first time in years.

I am looking for a relatively fast way to clean individual dirty sticks.

Thanks

Gina, on your desk is not too bad. I have them on my desk, my floor and smear on the caster of my chair. Messy messy stuff. :) Or then again maybe I'm the messy one.

I am completely self taught so in truth I have no idea what you mean about "the arrangement". I tend to work color next to color and am very careful about laying in my lights since they don't cover the darks well. Other than that I pull the colors as I need them. Working in an area and moving out from there.

Is your question in regards to color theory? Like complements and such?

Thanks Vanessa. I edited your comment because it was buggering up my spacing and I'm sure that wasn't your intention. So why Orlando Bloom? Because of that I almost deleted you as spam.
