My parents were both diabetics and in college a roommate was. When they got scary low they lost touch with reality. I am grateful I am still where I’m at diabetes wise. It’s been 10 years and I walk daily and eat (for the most part) really healthy. I know how scary things can really get.

As for bad customer service, it is definitely a low priority these days in some businesses, especially big ones. I now stop and double check while still in the car before I leave to check everything….no napkins sends me off….personally, I think you should have taken several sporks.

Oh yes, I have sporks here as well. You know come to think of it, I really havet got myself well stocked with those tiny instrumenst of death.

I don’t think customer service is at the top of many company’s training lists any more. and our culture doesn’t really promote it either. I realize that serving fast food probably isn’t anyone’s dream job, but they still have agreed to do it and accept the paycheck and the biggest part of that job is serving you, the customer.

I think you showed great restraint and I am glad you had a better experience during your second try to attain food!!

It’s not what I said that I found shocking, it was the fact that I went into an actual rage over it. I am a very easy going person who rarely gets bent out of shape over big things let alone little things like this. But I was seriously enraged. I had adrenaline flowing so I had a slight tremor to my voice as well as my hands, which means my body was ready to actually do some serious beating on someone. Very weird. Maybe had I shouted I would have been less inclined to kill. But then again . . .
